Eureka moments at Work, Chitra Lakshimi
The blog talks about those Eureka moments in the work day of the writer. It intends to work on the writer's own perception of events taking place in the course of her work as lecturer.

Verdant backdrop, buildings smelling of fresh paint, a room of ones own to read and write , the challenge of creating content for website and calendar and the rush of kick-starting the placement process, setting up the language lab...all these made Gce DPI, a pleasure to work in. But, now the heart wants to get back to the parent institution. I understand how difficult it must be for displaced people. One belongs neither here nor there.

A rose by any other name will still smell sweet.
There, now, it's done.
The four year hiatus ends for my blog.
I breathe in the air of freedom to write.

No day is the same as another. It was a surprise to know there was a one-day workshop on 'Software Engineering and Research in IT'.
The expert was Dr. Periasamy, Professor, Department of Computer Science, University of Wisconsin, U.S.A. He addressed the audience of research scholars, faculty members and students on 'Cost Estimation in S.E'. His erudite talk had a receptive audience as he peppered his talk with real time examples and illustrations.
Students are getting exposed to existing and emerging trends and will definitely benefit from the experts.

I'm swaying in the rain, I'm swine in the rein..or whatever else that Vadivelu so happily trills, I'm trilling away to glory too...
YouuuuuuuHoooooooooo...the department is getting an R.O. filter system...all those hot afternoons when one really longs for fresh clean water is now so close at hand. All the science and humanities departments, the exam cells, etc are getting their own private water holes.
Now, all those who drop into the department can be offered clean water, straight from the tap, instead of from the bottles we carry.
Mr.Prasath does not have to go down to the ground floor every time he wants a glass of water.
I don't have to lug two bottles of water everyday, making my bag as heavy as a sack of cement.
Children who come to get their test papers can now easily access water in case of fainting fits after seeing their marks...
Maybe, sometime in the future, coffee and tea makers, like in corporate offices, will be available too. Dreamer...
